I'm getting fired up for the upcoming Rhododendron Bloom on the high elevations at the Roan Mountain highlands. This is an image form last year as the sun set throwing a nice warm light across everything. Looking into North Carolina.

Let me know if the bright spot upper right is bothersome.

I love the pale pink in the sky and how it compliments the floors so well! Amazing shot!

the bright spot does distract a little bit, but this is such a great shot though

This is a great shot! The light is particularly fine. Although the bright spot shows the viewer the source and direction of the light, it is slightly distracting.

One minor point of critique though; I feel the rhododendrons "breaks" the image up in two halves. I think a better composition would have been if the rhododendrons were positioned a little lower in the frame.

Thank you and I see what you mean about the break. I may try to crop a bit of the lower part of the image.

It doesn't bother me, because you see where the light that's shining on the rhododendrons is coming from.
Great light, wonderful warm colours.
