Went for a family picnic yesterday at the Breaks Interstate Park. The mountain Laurel was blooming really well in spots. Luckily where we stopped to eat was one of those good spots
It's nice to see spring flowers after a long winter.. Here in NoDak it's been running a few weeks behind for the spring flowers due to the continuing cold temps with freezing temps overnight as late as several days ago...5 days or so after our usual latest frost day of May 16th. I don't know if the freeze will affect our plum trees bearing, considering the 28*F on the following morning of their blooming. Anyway...nice pix...like your woodland and water pix.. Keep 'em coming!
As late as that tree was blooming, I didn't think we'd have a freeze again. We had 36º here yesterday morning and another cold front is supposed to pass into the state again today. But we're still expecting mid to upper 70's today and this weekend after the 77º of yesterday.
