This reminds me of McConnell's Mill State Park here in western Pennsylvania. I used to go hiking there a lot. One time, when I was trying to get a shot of the covered bridge that spans the creek, I slipped on the rocks (it's not called the Slippery Rock Creek for nothing), and I almost went in the drink, a frightening prospect since at least one or two people drown there every year. One of these days, I'd like to photograph the crazy kayakers who brave the rapids.
Oh, no! That would have been terrible, considering how much cameras and lenses cost! Do you do anything special to protect your cameras from waterfall mist or an inadvertent swim in a creek?
